Unlock & lock

I'm unable to unlock the bike

If the bike isn’t unlocked on the first try, please close the APP and try to scan the code again. If you still cannot unlock this bike, please follow the advice below:

If the APP prompts you with “Please make sure you are next to the bike and try again”, you can try wiggle the lock and the back wheel. The bike will beep three times, please wait a minute and try to scan the code again.

If the APP prompts you with “I’m having a rest, please try another bike”, this bike might be temporarily unusable.

If you tried all these methods above but still can’t unlock the bike, please report to us by clicking the icon in the bottom right r.

How to lock the bike?

When you’ve finished your riding and returned the bike to a public bicycle rack or the white lines painted on the floor for bicycle parking, you should close the lock by pulling down the latch on the lock. Once you’ve done this, you’ll hear a double beep sound, which means the bike has been successfully.

My trip doesn’t end after I lock the bike

If you do not receive any trip summary within 2 minutes, please follow the checklist below:

Please check that you have enabled notifications for your APP in your phone’s settings.

After locking the bike, you can try relaunching Zbike App on your phone.

If you didn’t hear the 3-bip sounds when locking the bike, you can try to wiggle the lock’s red handle to make sure that it’s locked properly. After that, relaunch the Mobike App.

How are fares calculated?

The price is based on the amount of time you use the bikes.

How much does it cost to use zbike?

Standard model: 1€/30min, charge as 30 minutes if you’ve ride less than 30 minutes. Charges start once the bike has been unlocked. The timer will reset each time once the bike has been locked.

Monthly member: 5€ per month, you can use Zbike for free 30 minutes per day, then 0.8€/30min, charge as 30 minutes if you’ve ride less than 30 minutes.

Monthly member: 50€ per year, you can use Zbike for free 30 minutes per day, then 0.8€/30min, charge as 30 minutes if you’ve ride less than 30 minutes.

How to top-up

To top-up your wallet, enter My Account -> My Balance -> Top-up Account.

You cannot withdraw the money from your wallet, but don’t worry: it will never expire, so you can use it anytime.

What happens when my fare exceeds my wallet balance?

If you are in the midst of a ride, it will not affect your current ride. However, you will not be able to begin a new ride until you have topped up your wallet to pay the negative balance.

Where should I park the bike?

You can park at any public bicycle rack. Zbikes should never be parked in private bicycle parks, in a compound, in a residence, or in an underground parking space.

We are working hard to ensure that users can easily find an available bike at any time. We are constantly improving both the app and the bike itself, so that you can have comfortable riding experience with Zbike.

There is no public parking area in my destination

If there are no white lines within 100 meters of your destination, please return the bike to an area where other bikes are parked together. Please don’t leave the bike in the middle of nowhere. Please notice that you are responsible for any consequence caused by the illegal parking.

No bicycle streets

It’s forbidden to ride bike in some streets. Please pay attention to these traffic signs and different rules you may apply when riding. Please let us know when you find a bicycle restricted street.
